Hi Gaz. If either of the savers win I lose money. They are there to minimise the loss if my main selection fails to win. If none of them win I've picked the wrong insurance policy. lol

I hope Tony Carroll does not get away with this late jockey change from a 7lb claimer to Luke Morris on Secret Millionaire at Lingfield.

You have to get used to Bob's pithy comments Ian.

It's not that he's our resident grumpy as such, but he's in training for it :D

Added to which, it's his time of month. The month before the flat season kicks off <laugh>

    Well done Uncle <ok>

As for feedback on your blog Uncle I think its fine to just take a race and provide your view upon the runners and make a selection and should you prove worth following due to having an exceptional strike rate it will of course attract readers, should it provide a less than impressive profit however then it's readership will diminish quickly and render it without a point. I think that sort of stuff could be put on the forum and may not need a blog, were I to follow someone's blog I think I would want more than a summary of a race akin to something provided under each race in the racing post. It may need more to warrant needing a blog such as opinion on current and general topics, background information and insight into what you look for together with horses to follow etc.

Just offered as feedback Uncle and I am sure it will develop along its own path, good luck with it.

Not really into systems but it never fails to make me laugh the amount of old guys on Irish tracks who seem to operate blindly on a system of backing Nina Carberry in bumpers! It's always worth starting a chat with one before the bumper so as to watch as they take a sneaky look around before whispering 'Nina in the Bumper'. Always makes me smile when I hear that one <laugh>

Crikey the Leopardstown Sunday card looks Tasty with a capital T. Don Cossack v Carlingford Lough v Champagne Fever / Ballycasey in the PJ Moriarty will certainly shape the RSA market up and the 4YO race looks good too.

    Last proper racing before March!

EDIT: Gets better, just seen it will also feature Faugheen / Vautour v The Tullow Tank in the Deloitte. What a race that will be! Faugheen's first proper test, if he gets the nod.

Cheers blue as you say it will develope in it own way , it is more for me to build upon in a style akin to roto etc . As they say one step at a time though , and just getting to this stage was stressful. As I mentioned I would like to be in the swing of it for the flat season so your views are very well appreciated . I dont intend leaving the 606ers just probrably post the opinions on blog and pointers on here.
    thanks again uc
