Been a while since I started off a daily thread! I do however have an ulterior motive. Jeff is off to Stratford tonight! <party>

Only had a quick look but have taken an early 5/2 on AP's mount in the first, run behind Anay Turge looks very strong

Good luck tonight Jeff, hope you find some winners.

One bet so far for me which is this evening, but very strong indeed.

    Bath
    7.30 Duke of Perth 6-5

Apologies for putting up a short one but I cannot see this getting beat, although Jamie is on so he may yet have a say.

This horse was expected to win last time out but ran into a Mark Johnson hot pot in Royal Skies, to show how unfortunate this was, that race was a class 4 handicap but Johnson knew what a horse he had as he entered it next in a group 3 at Royal Ascot, a race it looked like winning two furlongs out, only to fade.

Duke of Perth was 9 lengths behind Royal Skies in that race but more importantly 5 lengths clear of the third. He ran off of 71 that day and does so today. This means if you take the Johnson horse out who clearly is a different class you have Duke of Perth a five length winner running again without going up for a 5 length win. To make the picture even better the horse in third (beaten 5 lengths by Duke of Perth) came out in another class four and won that by 4 lengths. The race today that Duke of Perth runs in is a class 5.....

The price is short but this is an exceptional bet.

I am delighted Jim Crowley is being used by Godolphin, he is a great Jockey and deserves to be used on better horses more in my opinion.

He drops in, leaves a tip, it wins and then you don't see him for months again and he repeats the dose. Gallop - our very own mystery man! <applause>

Top info Gallop - 100% record now :)

Interesting to see 2 heavily punted odds on shots turned over by Mark Johnston horses at Hamilton today - he's certainly in a bit of form lately and would have been a nice double if you took the chance (25/1 and 6/1 winners).
