Cheif - Dont forget thats also with a gob full of pork scratchings... it is a french horse...!!! Cheers Oddy, watching race only then...hehehehe...
I know what you mean grizz- I will only have a smal e/w bet on him, but my main bet wil be on le beau bai- he is a thorough stayer and should have no problems what ever ground! Unlike alot of the field he has proven stamina on the ground. When ever the going is like that I always find it chucks up a few big winners in the day! so Toppys selection is worth a punt!
On another note; I hope Masterminded gets well soon- it is sad his racing career may be over! A very talented horse! GET WELL SOON MM please log in to view this image
First Bid e/w @ 33s here at Southwell. Showed a liking for testing conditions when staying 3rd in penultimate start, on soft ground. Outpaced over 5f here last time and forgiving that, can show up better on second try at Southwell and hopefully seeing it out well.
Ah, it's one of Cyc's favourite slog days, and he's chosen a real slog in the mud. Good selection too. I went through the field for this one and came up with eight or nine with real chances, so I gave up. Instead went for. 13:30 Chepstow - Plein Pouvoir (Hope the black type will change my luck! All conditions seem to suit, so maybe he'll run well? Stranger things have happened with my selections).
Woolcombe: Hear, hear, I wish Master Minded a speedy recovery, but it does not look good? What on earth was he doing in this race?
DANDINO HURDLES CAREER ON HOLD: THE smart Dandino has had his jumps career put on hold and is set to stay on the Flat next season under the guidance of James Fanshawe. The four-year-old, who won the Group 2 Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket for James Given in May, had joined Nicky Henderson this autumn. However, after failing to take to his new vocation in schooling sessions at Seven Barrows, the Elite Racing Club's leading performer is to be returned to the Flat. Matthew Budden, speaking on behalf of Elite, said: "Dandino had some schooling with Nicky but we have decided to put his jumps career on hold for now and he is with James Fanshawe. "James will assess where we go with him with a view to resuming his Flat career. Althoughhe started pretty early last year, there are no plans to go to Dubai with him as he is currently having a break." Dandino won six of his fourteen starts for Given, including the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot last year. He was last seen when finishing ninth behind Opinion Poll in the Group 2 Lonsdale Cup in August.
Istabraq: Good luck to you mate! Wow, that's confidence! I found it a really tricky race (as it usually is), so no-play for me. Hope it goes in for you....
Swanny your mate CHris Grant has a huge-priced runner at Wetherby here - Muwalla at 80/1. Fairly decent flat form but first hurdles race was pretty poor. Could nick 3rd at a price?
