I like Jason Day as well Yorkies. Not that keen on any of the Europeans despite them occupying 6 of the top 7 places on the OWR's and the betting. I just think the Americans/ROW players are better putters, and apart from Clarkey this is usually won by a good putter. Keegan Bradley also interesting at 40's and Webb Simpson at 33's,but this is really an event where anyone can beat anyone with a dearth of early season form for guidance. If they progress you can lay off against their opponent to win the match or indeed outright at decent prices. Not my favourite event but fascinating all the same .
Interesting Hunter Chase now. Don't really have an opinion but it usually pays to follow the money. Kiama and Jack's The lad seem to be the two against the field. Hobbs form is dreadful right now so couldn't have Templer even at the big price for it's mark.
Yeah I agree Dex, about not being a good betting opportunity anyway. After my win on sticks horse thought I would have a look as I am off work this week so will be watching it. So just a bit of interest really. (Also Dyson is from round here and my mate knows him well!!)
Yorkies,Dyson had some season last year and is really improving..be nice to see him do well.He could easily be in the RC team. Not sure if i'm even gonna play and if a do it will be for smallish stakes in the early rounds of the event, just for a fun interest and a reason to watch. It is good TV and you have enough now to cover your stake and beer money..!!..GL .
Football bets - Birmingham @ 10/11 Scunthorpe @ 10/11 Milton Keynes Dons @ 4/9 Charlton @ 4/7 Swindon @ 5/6 Oxford Utd @ 4/5 Four folds/Five Folds/Six fold Blackpool @ 7/5 Napoli @ 5/4 Middlesbrough @ 9/5 Doubles/Treble And all of them in a acca
Couple of mine in there Nass, good luck with them all, I have a feeling Chelsea might get something tonight too, 9/4 the win 9/4 the draw
Intresting that Peter Carberry has just one ride at doncaster tomorrow- Moscow Mule in the 2.25 @ Donny. Surely he has a chance of winning tomorrow, if hes come over to ride just one!
A lot of people on this forum are fans of Maurice Linehan but the ride he gave MAURITINO at Kempton on Boxing Day was nothing short of tragic. He set off at a scalding pace with two others and all three paid the price and finished tailed off. Until that outing MAURITINO had looked very progressive in running up a four timer. I dont believe the handicapper has got his measure even now. He is dropped back in trip to the minimum which should not inconvenience him and provided Linehan gives him a decent ride this time he has an excellent shout at getting back to winning ways. 3.40 Ludlow 13-2 with Ladbrokes
If any of you choose to back him and with Bet365 it's a 4-1 + bonus race with the bonus race being the 4.05 Doncaster. Had a bit of a study and it looks a minefield. Although I do quite like Allthekingshorses if LAMBORO LAD came back to form he would be seriously well in. Last time he was off a mark this low he won by nine lengths! He was off the track for some time and has been less than encouraging since his return. He is however attracting a nibble of support which could be quite significant!
