Clarkey's race I haven't got a clue mate not great on Irish racing - C&D form a big positive at Listowel though isn't it ? so maybe worth a shot as for Muirhead cheers for making me look have to back him off 132- his hurdles rating is far better than that and I doubt we have seen the best of him over fences yet, he is in fair form at the moment as well - cracking looking bet mate. Whats Willie got to say about his 2yo in the opener ?
I don't think Tavern Times should be rated 135 and as such I think you've got to be taking it on at a short price. Bullock Harbour - Jessies best summer horse or so I wa led to believe in May - should be able to continue its rapid improvement and will take a heck of a lot of beating. A super prospect that I am pretty sure was bred by Barry Geraghty then sold onto Barry Connell to be trained by Jessie Harrington. Barry takes the ride today for the first time since its seasonal debut in mid May. It's won over the distance and should be able to handle this soft ground. Rattan is an obvious threat on these revised terms but I think Ruby is still trying to get back to fitness after his lay off and I also think Bullock Harbour is a long way off reaching his potential so should be able to get his head in front again. Decent bet for me if it opens around 3/1 which is forecast. If it's lower than that i'll more than likely let it run and keep my cash in my pocket.
