Morning all-- a very poor days racing today, from ayr and huntingdon in the mud, and on the sand at Southwell and Wolves-- but as we all know something has to win whether its Group1 or Class 7-- sometimes if you can find an unexposed horse at low level the price might be huge......on the other hand..... Golden Sparkle 2 50 Ayr-- a poor contest , but with Ian Duncan's string in fine form this has a good chance , over at Huntingdon Noble Witness in the 12 40 caught my eye last time, after getting outpaced and 'left' behind, stayed on again towards the end -- a weak race again but there for the horse with the most resilience--and noble witness knows how to win. Good luck if any are desperate to play !
I like the look of three at ayr 150 arc warrior 9s ew 220 ros castle 9/2 250 one for harry 5/2 available but I cant see it lasting 3 sand rats only backing as I was given 3 but I am going against 2 but will list the 2 in brackets 1230 lexis heroes 5/2 100 maxthe machine 11/2 ew (sir geoffrey may have the claimer but still looks weighted for this) 130 khajaaly 6/1 ew (sofias no one I may be very wrong here but 6s on my pick seems ridiculose) if I get 5 before the races I will endeavour to put up some reasoning good luck all
Guys I've merged your 2 threads into this one (rudebwoy gets the honour as he posted 1 minute earlier)
Bored at work so I've gone chasing today. Huntingdon 12:40 - Bally sands 7/1 13:40 - Mentalist 7/4 (NAP) Ayr 13:20 - Millborough 11/10 13:50 - Snuker 5/2
Alan King shutting up shop for a week or so due to the health of his string: http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/article/465/9098028/alan-king-shuts-up-shop
Poor racing but I'll have a small each way play on Little Boy Boru @ 25s in the 2nd race at Ayr. Brian Boru progeny certainly seem to appreciate plenty of give in the ground and the Irish based trainer has around 50% win/place strike rate when venturing across the water. Good luck all.
EW patent for me: 12:40 Huntingdon - Bally Sands 8/1 2:00 Southwell - Unex Michelangelo 9/1 3:50 Wolverhampton - Red Tiger Lily 14/1
Delta Forty for me in that one Bob - by Alflora so will relish the testing ground. Of her 3 runs to date, only the first was on easy ground (at Catterick on soft) and she was a decent 2nd to the Crawford's Legacy Gold (now with David Pipe) who ran a fine 3rd behind The Govaness at Cheltenham in a similar heat. That looks solid form with give in the ground. A couple of the others have form on soft but at 12/1 I think Delta Forty is a bit of e/w value.
Great shout Might have gotten a bit closer if it hadn't been pretty badly hampered by the horse going backwards...
I really dont know why khajaaly is lightly raced at that distance just beat by sillybilly and they left the pack for dead I thought they hadgot it with the quick turn of foot but fair play to sillybilly for showing a little extra
Unlucky there Mr cracker -mine not running like you expect -so as I've had the runs today, going to do Mr chocolate drop ew at 20/1!
