I suppose if you can get Evens or just around there, then its a good bet... Not that i am a flat expert but it dosnt seem a strong Derby this year and so it may be a value bet at the Evens available...

I agree surely he is going to be way too good for the likes of Battle Of Marengo ? - but I am not one for backing at Evens in a race like the Derby so will just leave it but I refuse to take him on at the minute.

I really like SAY for the Oaks though <ok> Pricewise ruined her price a bit but still 12-1 available. Reminds me of last years winner so much.

I was keen on Buxom at 13/2 earlier today but forgot to back her and she's now 5/2 - way too short to bet it at the current price but the money will probably be directed in the right area for a trainer who usually doesn't leave their cash behind.

I like Luci Di Mezzanotte if her bumper form transfers to jumps.

Unlucky today on Heading North, bumped into one I'd been given from the Stoute yard but chose to ignore in favour of my own confident selection. Those two were well ahead of the rest I gather. Well done Wooly.

Trying the Haggas horse in the next. Reports have been decent enough for a play at 7/1

Any views on the 6.30? Cant be having the unproven fav at 2/1, Khotan looks light he could improve and at 9/2 looks good. Ive always backed Poetic Verse aswell but once again this trip might be abit too far but at 10/1 Looks decent ew. Im undecided though, any thoughts?

    Shout George.

Thats as nice a 2-y-o performance as I have seen on debut this season...travelled easily, quickened and won going away.

RA next perhaps...Windsor Castle on pedigree but looks as though 6f would be no problem either.

Good effort from Lion Beacon...really stout stayer who looks better the farther he goes....also fast improving.

Wouldn't be without an outsiders chance in the Queens Vase even though he has only won off 76 today.

It's always a moderate G3 and the step up to 2m will suit him well....could also be a big H'cap in him and these connections could easily go down that route.

Didn't see it Dex but I asked about her this morning to someone who is ITK and they said Royal Ascot was on the agenda last they heard about a month ago. Assumed she'd be fav but was in fact a tasty price.

And what I'm most pleased about is one of the regulars in the bookies befriended me today as we were the only 2 in there at the time and I past on the info!! I hope somewhere nearby there's 6 or 7 of the usual lads all bouncing, buzzing and praising the mystery man!
