Or does it reverse when the ground is soft?

No wonder I can't pick a winner there!

It would help if I was thinking of the right course. Stone me.

Perhaps I'd better not invest further today.

The Nick Gifford racing club has it's first runner in the Cheltenham mares bumper. 20/1. I'm not sure it'll be able to beat the Henderson and King horse who have good form at this level but it's not exactly unheard of for a trainers own racing club to start things off with a winner.

Can Twice Over be beaten in a Gp3 on the course he's won at 5 times? If I am not mistaken, the last time he ran a Gp3 was in the Craven 4 years ago, and he won that by half a length from Raven's Pass. Pricewise has gone for Ransom Note, and you can't argue with Tom Segal, but the 5lb penalty should be enough to stop his fancy, and hopefully he will prop TO up in the market. Load the gun ma, I'm going hunting.

Mrs Warren for me in the first @ HQ.

I looked after the original Mrs Warren (a G1 winner in the USA) when I worked at Darley. She's long dead now (foaled in 1974), but for sentimental reasons I'd have to support her namesake.

    Good shout.

Une Artiste proved the Cheltenham run was certainly no fluke. Easy as you like.

I was paid out at 7/4 George so if you're a bet365 man you'll get that as well.

Having seen that first at Ripon I would prefer to be on a high drawn horse today. The two drawn 1 and 2 looked the best horses but that draw hasn't helped them.

That Une Artiste looks very good. Just beat an above average sort on the bridle - well done backers. The Wood Ditton looks good but only for small stakes
