Harry Rednapp has ruled himself out of the running for the England job and has been appointed Rangers tax adviser with immediate effect!! He was quoted as saying 'that clubs in Glasgow isnt it? No one there can read or write - this case will be a doddle'
Got a little e/w fancy for Long Distance in the 3.15 at Musselburgh today. Lucinda Russel's gelding won a Class 4 Novices Handicap Hurdle at Market Rasen last July off a mark of 97. That was over 2m1f on gd/gd-firm and he was put up 8lbs for his next run at Ayr 3 weeks later, finishing a very creditable 4th beaten 2 1/2 lengths. He then had a long break until mid-December and has had 2 runs this winter, both on unsuitably heavy ground (beaten 15 lengths at Carlisle over 2m4f and then tailed off at Newcastle). His form after a long break is poor so I'm happy he's had a recent outing a month ago and with the ground today riding good, gd-firm in places, he is dropped a couple of pounds to 103. The stable remains in good form and with conditions much more likely to suit today I think he can put up a bold show.
Hello lads. Long Run is unopposable tomorrow from a logical ratings and form perspective but nothing is certain. Perhaps SWC may get caught napping if it turns tactical,or perhaps he may make all to limit the chances of a cat and mouse event.Whilst unlikely to be 100%,he is guaranteed to be straight enough with the festival so close. Anyone keen to take the 1/2?...I'm interested to see how Medermit goes in his first crack at 3m but won't be punting in this event. Time for some homework on todays cards...poor enough offering's tbh.

I just glanced at the 4.15 Musselburgh card on Sporting Life and for a split second thought Simonsig was running again Top horse Simonsberg, same ownership and lots of 1s in the form. Nearly had to break wind
Odddy this is the same bloke that said there would be no deals a couple of hours before the transfer window shut - next thing you know Breaking news- Tottenham sign Rafael Van der Vaart
Because it is a different Ferguson - if it was John Fergusons horse it would have been mentioned at 12.01 am - same one that trains that hunter chase runner and used to train Simonsig
Stick definately in with strong place claims and looking at the standard of the entries could just get up, my only concerns is the ability to get 7f, one that takes my eye in that race (no bet) is TOMS RIVER TEES 25/1 who has slowly dropped down to a nice mark, down another 3lb for a 4 1/2L 5th of 6 over 6f LTO. Previously with Barry Hills and running in better company than on show today. Probably the best of his past form was against Fred Willets over 6f at Kempton when he got to within 7l of a horse that has gone on to compete in much better company and won off a mark of 89.
Says 'Arry speaking to Abu Dhabi Sports...!!! Jeez that man will talk to anyone... Wonder if he was looking to buy a sand plot over there, you know, for his next financial gain... A buried treasure kind of Bank Account...
