Sam thomas imp rode well for Nicholls 2nd in the GC last year was just one of the examples, I dont rate him that highly as a jockey but seemed to get on well with Denman

Great stuff guys. Woolcombe has messaged me asking about when to send me selections and thoughts.

Literally as soon as you can would be my advice, so long as youve got half hour spare to do it <ok>

Supreme Novice, Arkle, Champion Hurdle, DN Mares Hurdle-------Neptune, Champion Chase, RSA Chase, Champion Bumper------Jewson Chase, World Hurdle, Ryanair Chase------Triumph Hurdle, Albert Bartlett Hurdle, Gold Cup.

The remaining races I will leave for you to choose- so if you have some strong opinionsa on the handicaps, put them in, if you dont, then no worries- just cover the races above.

Just to explain now, if it is that I end up with about 20 odd people interested, obviously there will be a few who get left out and it wont be because of any favouritism or anything, purely just because otherwise the article would be bloody massive!

But you must let me know ASAP

Thanks for your responses as always gents <cheers>

When my hangover disappears I'll send you on my thoughts Toppy.

John Ferguson newcomer a double figure making its debut in a Maiden at the same course where he's unleashed the decent pair of Perpetually and Cry of Freedome so far - yes please!

2.10 Huntingdon Kadoodd 11/1

Room for another one Toppy? I've quite a few strong views on the Festival which I'm not scared to air <laugh>

Slieveadarragh wins at 3.30 Leopardstown 13/8.

Definitely Zen, I thought you might be interested ;)

If I say I'll aim to publish by Wednesday? So if I can get your thoughts by tomorrow evening? sound fair?

Beefy yes of course, you are a regular and have put some good views into the antepost so far!

Fancy KARABAK on a good surface here at Leopardstown. Muddling race and cant be having such a short price on the fav.

TopClass: Think it's a great idea, and it will be of great interest to the many of us who don't contribute too much in the way of selections. Look forward to reading the views and opinions of the regulars. Very best of luck with this! <cheers>

(Are you inviting Shergar to your little soirée? <laugh>..........Just kidding!).

Wednesday is fine by me. I'll get something rustled up asap.

How long were you looking at for each race? Just a who you fancy and why or anything more detailed?

I dunno if youve seen many of the previews Zen? Its a bit like a chatty type of thing, so you havent got to go massive on detail but a few sentences would not be a problem <ok> Basically your take oin the race, your selection, with a reasons why and any comments on the opposition.

JENARI has some excellent form in bumpers and hurdles and 2/1 is a fair price in this handicap. Only concern is a classic Irish plot, but if he gets a clean round he ought to go really well on this ground having chased home Lovethehigherlaw and Waaheb last spring.
