Young Master Tart will give better rides than that I feel. How he didnt at least get a place is bewildering!
That is an understatement Stick.
I say this with an appreciation that he is a claimer but he should have given the winner a real race and been much closer at least. He made no effort to ride a start but rather let the horse pop out and see where he ended up. If he wanted he could and should have travelled in 5th as the space was there at the start to move up but he sat like a statue whilst it closed over the course of the first furlong. After this he also cost you another way many jockeys do at Lingfield which is to imagine their finish can only be ridden after the final bend, there was space to push on and make ground before the bend but again he sat and waited for the bend meaning as it played out that he had not enough time to make up such ground. The only consolation Stick is that you have found one on a winning mark and I think you will collect on him soon.
