Nass... still working on it... Although I do know yard have no gauge on their horses as a fair few have won when they didnt fancy them.. I.e. Russelina 1/2 others.

Also ain't properly gone into a race in detail for a while so you fancy nominating a race (where horses have run previously) for me to look at, and report back to the forum today.?

Cadel. The Schleck boys took it in turns to try and nail him but weren't good enough. They sat on him. Then when Conta went away, they wanted him to help chase Conta down. He politely refused. <laugh>

Cyc it's D-Day this Tuesday when the Super League clubs find out whether there given a licence for next 3yrs in SL, extremely worried that we won't be given one.. although we are without doubt not the weakest club in the league !

Anyway since Nass hasn't nominated one i've picked the tricky looking 6fl sprint a ponty (4:25)

Sorry Catty was watching the F1, I have backed one in that race too (and like one in the last at Ascot too). Interesting to see what you come up with.

Cornus @ 14/1 ew is having his 139th career start today but as showed from last time out this 9yr old still has a fair bit of ability. He ran well over C&D just over a week ago after being held back going through the field to be narrowly denied on the line, he has only gone up 1lb for that run and is therefore still able to make his mark here from a nice low draw. He won over C&D last year off a mark of 81 he races here of 75 but has the very capable Paul Pickard taking 3lb off so runs of 72 today. I also think the drying ground will suit too.

It's a very tough race and I do like the look of a few others that are dangerous to the selection this includes the favourite Zero Money for Roger Charlton ran well over 7fl lto however he emptied last 100yrds so a drop to 6 might well suit but there are some expierenced sprinters here so will be interesting to see if he can keep up that's why he's passed over for today.Others include Klynch who raced wide lto, and Valery Borcoz.

Think Murura was given a shocking ride there by Julie Burke and there was a lot of horse left under her. I counted she hit the horse at most 4 times but as I am not entirely familiar with her maybe she has not mastered the art of using the whip whilst racing yet. Not saying he would have won, but I think with a better ride he would definitely finished closer. Hes declared to run at Goodwood on Tuesday with Burke back up unfortunately but I'm convinced there was a lot left in the tank! Anyone else got an opinion?
