I think the Fly will do well to 'hammer' any fields in Ireland this season when you consider Our Conor and Jezki are likely to be in opposition... Oh yes and maybe some 'hype' may be permitted your honour?!. You're surely allowed that when you win a couple of Champion Hurdles
Surprised this Nicholls horse is drifting in the last - thought his bumper win was very impressive and I really like his chances. Done him e/w at 9/2
Backed Here's The Badger at 66/1 this morning is now 20s it's probably a complete donkey but that's some shortening of the price someone's backing it!
A tad unlucky. Ran with only three shoes, fluffed pretty much every obstacle and made a proper Horlicks of the last when still going sweetly. A surefire future winner!
I got 100 on The New One at 8s didnt watch the race today, probably wont watch it, will have a look when hes in a real race
Apologies Beefy I've probably come across all wrong there. When I say hype I am talking about the media and bookmakers, who will proclaim that HF retains all ability and therefore shorten him in the betting (potentially adding juice to The New Ones price) Our Conor still has a lot to prove, the form in behind him for the Triumph might not stand up- that's just my incline though. Still though, he did absolutely hack up. Hope Hurricane does get some genuine opposition over there, would add a lot to Irish jumps racing for us to watch on Sundays!
Topclass the form of the Triumph is already working out nicely. Sametegal (3rd) was 2nd in Scottish Champ to Court Minstrel and also won a fair race at Chelts on Saturday. The 4th Diakali is already a dual Grade 1 winner since (Punchestown and Auteuil) Lac Fontana has also won from the race. VDR and Rolling Star admittedly ran poor at Aintree but the form looks decent to me.
