Siding with kashgar ew at 13/2 in the next slightly weighted but the conditions could drag some down

Nice start for Dodging Bullets whose jumping improved the faster they went. Would've been much closer if the other had jumped better.

How often do you see a Nicky Henderson novice hurdler at 14/1 outsider of 5??

I rather suspect the ground has gone against mine in the 5.00 badger!

I think Rock on Ruby at 7-4 is a horrendous price against the New One today. Not only will the track be too sharp but from what we know of him he usually takes a couple of runs before he's at his best. I'd expect the New One to win this on the bridle.

If Rock on Ruby is beaten with disdain today, anyone think he could go chasing or is he too old at 8 to start? The way he clears his hurdles I always thought he would be sent chasing at some point.

I think I saw an interview with Harry Fry the other day Beefy where he was basically saying if he got murdered today they may well go novice chasing with him. Would be a very interesting Arkle candidate, despite his age.

Small e/w on Milgen Bay at 20s here, backed him last time out and he came 3rd for me, doesn't know how to run a bad race.

Do we think Champagne fever will stay at 2m over fences or go for the RSA? Will be on it whichever route he takes

Very interesting Oddy...If he's basically using today to measure the old boy up against the up and comer he's bound to ensure Rock on is going out in reasonable order? In fact, even if RoR was 80% fit it mightn't be the victory parade for the New One we're all expecting.

Young Mr Fry certainly knows how to prepare them so he'd be a hell of a recruit to novice chasing if he does go that route. Boylesport's 10-1 for the Arkle might look very good value in an hours time!!
