As an aside,I noticed that of the 27 races only 8 were won by our jocks..pro and am's. I agree with Ted Walsh when he said the Irish amateurs are that by name only..also that ruby said if Robbie Mac could ride at 10 stone "we'd all give up". No disrespect to Alan Hill,and the C4 numpties who championed him,but if he is the representation of a good English amateur,bring back Brod Munro-Wilson..Hill was terribly exposed...The Irish lot should be sanctioned on the amount of winners ridden. Just a thought.
Bank Holiday over here tomorrow so staying up a little later. Great Flintoff tribute on Sky Sports 2 at the moment.hit 9 6's in that innings...never the sharpest tool but committed...loved him.
