rated 83 on the flat ROTO which is pretty tidy, never yet been put properly in a hurdle race and contests this egg and spoon, stablemate more obvious yet friendless in exchanges, I smell a Besty plot and am happy to have dabbled at 12-1
Certainly has the profile of a Best plot alright and PP took no chances opening him at 4s. Mattie Batchelor being 0-22 for the yard is a little disconcerting though!
Assuming Mattie rides. Alternative scenario is; ON THE FEATHER declared a non runner and Jamie Moore gets on PLANETOID ;-)
I've had a small bet on him. He seems to have been sulking recently but he is undoubtedly more than capable of blitzing this field off his lowest ever mark. I think its all going to hinge on whether or not he breaks well as if he gets behind early I don't think he'll fancy it and will run crap. If he gets to the front early then I think he'll run away with it.
Thanks ROTO, that's good enough for me, he's now 8's from 12's with 365 and taking the claimer into account he's ten pounds lower than last time. I've also had a small bet and if he wins I owe you a pint!
Stick, while I'm on the scrounge for the thoughts of the experts, what do you think to the chances of Tidal Dance tomorrow from the Lavelle stable? Have you heard anything? I know it's fairly short but I think it's got a great chance!
It has an obvious chance mate but I am concerned about the market support for the Hobbs horse VIRGINIA ASH. It really doesnt make sense as its looked pretty mediocre up to now. Chances are that TIDAL DANCE will hose up but I dont like the way he has looked so one paced up to now. A race that I am leaving well alone. CAPTAIN SUNSHINE was the horse to take out of the weekend for me, was running a cracker when he came down. He was a bit banged up but should have no lasting damage. The winner OSCARA DARA looks a very well handicapped horse.
Well that's a pint I owe you ROTO, thanks for your advice as always, you were spot on and he won well. As well as a single I had him in an ew double with Planetoid - what might have been!
