The case against JT ahould of defo been before the Euros.

I can't say if he is guity or not as every clips i see of him shouting alleged slur are all blurred out.

One thing I can say though is less and less players are using the racist card now and when the do they do seem genuine.

If proven guilty it would be intersting to see what the A Cole, Drogba, Malouda etc think of it. The whole saga will have massive impact on both club and country Personally I wouldn't be able to play in the same team as JT.

I wouldn't even take him to the Euros anyways. He isn't even good anymore ffs. Constantly exposed at the back for Chelsea every single game. One of the slowest CB'S in the premiership. All he has ever been good at is reading the play which has helped his lack of pace, however that has gone now as well. Added to that he is a tosser.

And now people are like Gerrard for captain - Piss off he is never fit and is also a thug. Caught on camera punching the crap out of some bloke.

Scott Parker as captain, give me strength. They should call Barton up and make him captain. True English grit <laugh>

The England team needs rebuilding and a central midfielder who is 31 years of age shouldn't be the captain of such a team, we need to be bringing leadership skills to our younger players, and why not allow someone like Micah Richards (who should be first choice) or whoever partners Terry at centreback (assuming Rio will be injured).

England don't have a good enough team to win the trophy this year, they should be building for the World Cup, and should be doing so by giving young lads more experience and responsibility.

Scott Parker at the minute is an important member of the team, but he isn't what I would class as a true leader and he isn't world class either, he may be surpassed by younger players in the next few seasons as Englands holding midfielder.

He isn't as bad as putting Rio or Gerrard as captain, but for me it should be going to the guys who we can build around, and Micah for me would be the one. He has something of a Stuart Pearce about him too.

John Terrry is a disgrace for a professional football and is nothing short of a thug-His mother was arrested for shop lifting and his father was done for dealing coke-His brother had an affair with his best mates why and he ended up killing himself-the apple doesnt fall far in the terry household!Cant believe he was being kept on as captain, some feckin role model!!

fair enough but I couldn't disagree more about Micah Richards the bloke is a big baby you don't want someone like that being captain.

My idea for Parker was that he has been by far the best buy for this season - has been WORLD class and if it wasn't for him I very much doubt Spurs would be sitting where they are now. He does so much graft for the team is a fantastic tackler, will get right back to help out. Is a brilliant passer of the ball and isn't afraid to gob off on the pitch, but is also a role model off it. I don't think you do want a young leader for a tournament like this. After it has finished yes give it to a young one and build from there. If there was going to be a young captain it should have happened at least a year before the tournament not now.

    RV,

Scott Parker is a Premiership player, he is brilliant in a balanced Spurs team, but the England team isn't balanced, we don't have a left side to the team and he will struggle because he won't have the "out"balls that he has at Spurs. He has to show he can cut it in big tournaments for England, and I don't think he will.

Micah would grow if given the job.
