****ing get in party line finally a chance of promotion in the leagues comp. 12-1, hopefully more on the tote.
not being funny but does mark johnston 'train' his horses to be gutsy? they all seem to relish a battle.
Jack Dexer 7/1 EW paying 5 places with Paddy Power - I have had a small dabble. Horse I like a lot, goes very nicely on heavy ground, the heavier the better, and 5f will be better for him than the 7f he won on at Ascot last week. I'm convinced he's still well handicapped.
That Tawhid was rather impressive there, really dont fancy anything at all strongly today. Hopefully Doc Hay runs a race here. On Trading Leather at 9/2 but Im not confident on that ground.
That was a good decision - shame I don't seem to remember putting him in the leagues comp last night! I think Noble Mission is the class act here, but the ground may not suit him. No bet, but I'd love to see him win. Hewaafez on the other hand, will love the ground I think.
Another good decision! Don't think Noble Mission enjoyed the ground there. In my opinion on good ground he'd have battered that lot. Hewaafez a bit disappointing, and definitely didn't like the ground.
Just dont get the Camelot feeling about Kingsbarns and Im surprised Battle Of Marengo isnt running. I would be wanting at least 6/1 against this level of form, it was different last year because Camelot wasnt running against anything like these types of horses.
You can tell the respective yards are keen on Kingsbarns and Van Der Neer (and not just because they were supplemented) and Steeler sets the standard but I still like First Cornerstone at the prices. He beat a highly regarded Derby type from the AOB yard in Flying the Flag and he clearly gets the ground. I wonder what price he'd be if he was trained by AO'B or Richard Hannon.
