We'll see about Mount Athos fellas, I think he has the class to turn this into a procession

Agree completely Nass about Krypton Factor, I really like the draw as well. In fact I'm putting a lot of emphasis on the draw. For that reason I've selected Berkshire in the first who ran well in a hot maiden and Rex Imperator in the Wokingham who looks potentially very, very well in on pieces of form from last year. He looked like he might just be coming back to his best on his last run and he's drawn nice and high. I was anticipating a Not606 gamble on Caravan Rolls On after his luck in running last year when many of you were on. Entry in the Irish St Leger is perhaps telling that 94 should be no problem for this lad. I've sided with the nutty Mad Moose in the long one.

Maarek needs a bog to win a group one. I wouldn't bother running him on anything else unless I was a gambling yard thinking about future markets.

I have also done a small L15 on Ryan Moores Rides as I think he has a very good chance or 2 or more winners to be top jockey!

    Stunning try from George North

First time I have had a proper chance to study the form for a while so I will be disappointed if I don't bag a couple of winners today!

2.30 SOMEWHAT 9-2 very impressive on debut
3.05 UNIVERSAL 12-1 sure to go well and form could be underrated
3.45 SOCIETY ROCK 5-1 simply the best horse in the race
4.25 DINKUM DIAMOND 25-1 see Wokingham thread
5.00 RYE HOUSE 13-2 a horse I have had on my tracker for some time and in a race that the trainer loves to win
5.35 SHAHWARDI 4-1 how good does last years form look now. No Simenon this time round and this French raider is super value at 4's!

    Good luck all.

I have tried to follow the threads this week and yet again the quality from many on here has been sensational (no names mentioned)

I think Ektiham is very over priced, and at 3/1 is worth getting stuck into. He had close form with Al Kazeem over 10 furlongs earlier in the season, and seemed to improve alot when stepped up to 12 furlongs over the course and distance, running out a convincing 6 length winner over Thomas Chipendale on good to firm ground, the same conditions he will encounter today.

Mount Athos is a horse who's been running in Chester Cups, Cesarawitchs and Melbourne Cups, and will be far to slow to live with Ektiham at 12 furlongs

Ravensburg 8:50 Haydock 5/1 - Rawell on debut finishing fast to get 6th at 33/1 finishing just over 7l behind Stableford at Yarmouth. Took a while to get going but with expected improvement today has a good chance of winning.

Alhellhal 4:00 Down Royal 7/1 - Ran well lto after a lay-off just being denied on the line by the useful Solo Performer at Roscommon. The run will have done this fella the world of good and having won this race last year he is sure to put in a bold bid to regain his crown.

Two doubles for me. One hopeful, the other more speculative, couple of decent priced outsiders.

Hopeful double (e/w) - Bunker and Society Rock.

Speculative double (e/w) - Soul and Mass Rally.
