I saw the race. I can understand someone getting upset if they backed Fury but there was no way they could have justified changing the result. I think anyone who backed the winner would have had no worries about the result. It was even queried on the TV why an enquiry was called, having watched the head on. The winner was very gutsy and hung on well. Fury was very unlucky that the winner was such a battler but that's all. Great run by the first and second.
I doubt they would have changed that result in France Stick. Good luck with your golf. Sounds pretty high standard. What's your handicap?

Doesn't that qualify you for Pro-Ams Stick? Sorry, don't know much about Golf but when my son came over here with a handicap of 50 something (we bought him a set of clubs) and won a few handicap tournaments and got down to 28 (rapid developer) he was trying to get down to below 24 to enter a Pro-Am here but ran out of time. Consistency is his main problem as he only gets to play when he comes over to visit.

Brilliant mate, lovely ride from Timmy Murphy too, kept switching him up the straight to give him some heart. Superb stuff. Ronaldo has just scored a fantastic goal! 5 really is good. Thing is, the people I know who play off those sort of handicaps don't do anything special either. 18 tee shots down the middle, 18 shots onto the green and two putts. It looks and sound so easy Btw was just watching the day I was at Aintree (ladies day - the 13th). Have to say Harry Haynes gave Attaglance the most fantastic ride. I didn't realize it at the time - I knew he was off the bridle early because I thought I'd done my dough - but he really was scrubbing him along for the final mile. Credit to the horse too I guess - very game indeed. 10 minutes left and I guess even point is a very poor result for barce though I don't know how many games are left in their season.
If you want to be any good Ron you need to play and practise regularly. I haven't shown much interest over the last six months and it's showing in my scores. I have always wanted to get under ten and but I just cant shed those extra couple of shots. I will be trying tomorrow but would you get a decent price about me ;-)
