He completely cost him the race in my opinion as cost him his momentum even though did not touch, but i don't think he will lose it as he has not actually got off his horse and cut the runner up's throat as is needed in the stewards room nowadays.
I tell you what, Fury is a game(r) horse than I had previously thought, he came through a gap where whips were raised in his vision. He doesn't seem to have the pace in the final furlong, I wonder if he is a 10 furlong horse.
