    I'm completely stunned.

    Well done Kauto and Ruby.

Does anyone see Long Run reversing the form at Kempton? If Kauto has Ruby on his back he will go very very close

Oddy, I do I am afraid, because I think everything was wrong for Long Run today and he still got close enough.

Kauto's superb jumping seemed to put Long Run off, couldnt jump with him.

That display has dispelled any thoughts of how good he is, 11 years old and still destroying the best young chasers out there. He would have won even easier if it was better gounrd!

    what an amazing win!
first time I have been brought to tears by a horse winning a race.

but this is not just any old horse, this is the greatest national hunt horse since Arkle.

    Have a good one Dan.

I bet Shergar is busy preparing arguments about how Kauto Star was lucky today and Denman would have beaten him <laugh>

BTW Wierd Al stayed on well for 3rd, very please with his effort and I think more to come from him

oddy, have to say how impressive it was that Kauto easily dealt with Weird Al after his fairly comfortable win in the Charlie Hall. Long Run may not have been fully at peak fitness but the rest the field would have been race fit and kauto sweapt them aside with consumate ease. wonderful!
