Binocular has just seen his car coming down the drive . . .

    Henderson does look possessed though!

I really dont get why people dont like binocular or is itt more henderson? and what happend this year with the whole CH scenario? I think hes a top trainer and bincoular is class horse, you cant win the CH without being a very good horse. Yes he has nothing on Kauto what so ever! but is still a good horse

I have nothing against Binocular Woolcombe. I just think he is overrated and was an impressive winner of a very poor Champion Hurdle. He will obviously have his supporters but I just don't think he is anything like as good as we were led to believe. He was supposed to have 'returned to form' in the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton and yet he was only a couple of lengths clear of Overturn, who is a very good horse but no Champion Hurdler. I would be confident that a fully fit Hurricane Fly would firmly put him in his place, even if Binocular was on top form.

That said there may be some easy pickings for him in the 2m hurdling division this year with both Zarkandar and Spirit Son not expected out for a little while. The Fighting Fifth, for example, looks a really poor race.

I have nothing against either WF. Binocular is a very good horse and NH is obviously a very good trainer. I was just jesting with Nass as, after his comment, I couldn't resist it looking at the expression on NH's face.
