Here is the McCain words on Realmont: His owner has been extremely patient with him, as he came from France with some very good form to his name, having twice finished reasonably close to Long Run. However, before arriving he got colic and subsequently fractured a pelvis. After plenty of time off he was just ready to get going when an x-ray revealed a hairline fracture to a hind leg. So it is fair to say he has had plenty of time to become acclimatised. We had him all ready to run and I swear he knew he was set to go as he went lame on us. It has been one problem after another so we are taking things one day at a time. He will be back working again next week and I am sure the wait will be worth it as he had a big reputation before coming here. - Weekender 23/11/11
I thought the 33/1 looked very fair and sure enough he is now a best priced 25/1! Not saying he's going to win but he must be a lively outsider because he gave the impression that there was more to come.

Tough race mate with the top 2 looking decent animals BUT if the Sporting Life tissue of 6/1 is correct then definitely worth an e/w. Race lacks strength in depth so if it stays at 8 Realmont should place at least. If his last run has brought him forward he could be a big player, but I would want to see how he looks in the paddock. McCain / Maguire maybe worth a trixie on the first 3 races at the meeting though - I fancied them to bang in a couple at Wetherby today before it was cancelled.
