What was the Inquiry over at Ayr, did anyone see? W Six Times defeat has cost me about a ton as it was the third leg of an otherwise successful patent.
The winner carried W six times miles across the course, they past the post on the chase course. Unfortunately the distance was 1/2 a length and your jockey used his whip to tell the horse to go the same way as well. The jockey should have changed hands and asked the horse to go towards the other, this would have either caused the other horse to run straighter or cause the other horse to have contact, and then you may well have got it. I think you were unlucky and that had you have been the other side of the horse you would have won, the drift partly caused it but the intimidation also contributed. W six times travelled like the winner throughout the race.
he was backed all day the whillans horse-- unlucky that Harbottle- be other days though--the party in Hawick tonight will be postponed as well.....
Sorry Persian Patriot did not provide another Wooly, sadly the writing was on the wall from the first furlong and the horse fought the jockey throughout and had nothing left. A great shame when you see everything look right on the form book, take the price and see it contract like that as you think its there for the taking.
Great call on Snall John sand master! That double with Sir charlie will pay for nice curry to cure the monday blues! Lol cheers
Cheers It is a shame about the other as the treble would have really paid but the double and singles were good enough to make a decent day. Apart from Persian Patriot not really being able to last home due to pulling it was a shame that the Blue Dog got taken out on the bend as would have been good to see if he could have managed the four timer as that's a very difficult thing to do.
