What a legend of a horse! Thats the 4th year in a row I've backed him in that race and 3rd time I've collected. I cannot fathom how he was 16/1 last night and another superb piece of training by Michael Dods to get him to peak for this race. Cracking ride by young Beasley as well. Glad a few of you got on.
5.45 Newcastle Mission Impossible 25/1 He's got to back bounce from a few poor efforts but Tracy Waggott's 8 year old grey is now only 1lb above the mark he was successful at Thirsk back in April and he has a really good record at the track. His last 4 runs have been quite disappointing (including over C+D 2 starts back) but I am hoping that the reapplication of cheekpieces (can win with them or without) will spark him back in to life having been left off for his last 2 starts. He was definitely lucky to be drawn on the right side when winning at Thirsk back in April under Patrick Mathers as he scored by a neck but he beat an improving sort in runner up Chester Aristocrat that day who has won twice since and is rated 16lb. His 4 subsequent outings since then haven't been great but he has fallen 4lb for those runs and has quickly come back to a mark that looks very workable. In addition to cheekpieces being reapplied, I am very happy to see him back at Newcastle where he has a tremendous record of 3 wins from 6 starts and whilst his run over C+D 2 starts back wasn't great he was only beaten 2L on his visit to the course so he has 5 great runs from just 6 starts at the track and clearly loves it around here. The booking of Dale Swift very much catches the eye given he is 3-10 for the yard I am definitely buoyed with optimism of a return to form. Tracy Waggott has had an excellent season so far and her and Swift teamed up for a winner in the last 14 days and with ground conditions fine if bouncing back I think Mission Impossible could put in a big display today.
I've backed Beckermet 20/1 in this race but I missed your tip earlier and I'm not missing another so I've gone EW on yours and done rev fc with mine
Zarosa placed - that's good enough for my ew double Thanks forumites, for the heads up - glad I didn't put the mockers on them for you! I'll have a small ew on MI as ROTO is hot at the moment
ZAROSA would have been closer with a clear run. So pleased she ran well for the yard. If the ground comes up good or better they will run ETHICS GIRL on Wednesday.
Fairly lacklustre performance from Mission Impossible. He'll get better handicapped and will win again at some stage but probably not for a while.
Damnit..........how many times have I put FITOBUST up on here this season. First time visor works the oracle!
Stick, I notice a couple of yours are out tomorrow, BOUGGLER & BEN CEE PEE M? Look like been fairly short prices, whats your views on there chances do you expect them both to be winning?
