Ew dabble on eleazer for two reasons one if I back sticks today it will lose and two I'm throwing caution to the wind
You have been on a good run stick and the race was tight anyway after my first look I wasnt entirely convinced but I'm glad I wasnt I'm also glad I didnt take the 9s on offer beforehand anyway keep up the good work
Good to see Cristoforo Colombo back in the winners enclosure. I think that he will improve at 7 and 8f.
Hello lads. Been absent for a few days. Interesting CC ran here New Approach instead on Sunday where there is a pretty soft 7f G3 at Tip even though Coolmore have decent represtation there also. Workmanlike and perhaps today was a tester to see if the BC sprint is a viable option. It isn't on that performance. The horse clearly needs 7f or a mile imo. Has had a light campaign and the BC mile could be a worth a shot with his tactical speed sharpened up today. That race often rides like a 6/7f race on tight round courses.
The afore mentioned G3 has a first prize of £35,490 at todays exchange rate...very good for a race of this pattern grade. Surprised all the UK based trainers who lament and moan about the lack of decent 7f races haven't managed to cobble together a single runner in this very winnable heat.
Yes, it was not impressive but I agree that he looks like a miler not a sprinter. I saw this race as a confidence builder for a horse that was very well thought of but has had his fair share of bad luck. As a typical henrythenavigator this horse will like the ground as quick as possible. If he did go to the breeders cup i think he would have an outside chance and would be a cracking bet on the american pmu.
