5.10 Wolverhampton Cool Kid 100/1 Very small bet but I think its interesting that Eoin Griffin brings his 4 year old over to England for his handicap debut. He had one start for Ger Lyons before refusing to enter the stalls twice but he raved about him on more than one occasion stating "Cool Kid is a lovely big horse who has a knee action so should handle soft ground. If he does he'll run very well. Same family as Frederick Engels"."I like Cool Kid alot but he gets claustrophobic in stalls". He left Lyons to join current connections for a pretty disappointing hurdling career but his new trainer seems to have gotten him over his stall issues as he ran well enough in a maiden LTO at Dundalk when giving his 3 year old rivals a bunch of weight. He makes his handicap debut here off a mark of 56 and gets in off bottom weight and although he hasn't shown the promise that Ger Lyons seemed the think he had in abundance his game will surely be handicapping. Griffin is 1-2 at Wolves (another more fancied runner later on) so I think its interesting he comes across the water for his handicap debut. Freddie Tylicki takes the ride and although he will more than likely be hopeless beaten he's worth a very small bet.
Having a bit of fun on the AW tonight, thanks to stick and another horse too. Next one is Star Links, who has a great course record a fair draw and the yards other runner at the meeting ran well in the maiden earlier. 15/2 EW
Well done Ollie, and good evening to you. Trust you are well. I do with my horse hadn't bothered going in after all that. Recalcitrant is the word
I am well Nass thanks. Yourself? I had a few Shandies last night so been a slow day today! Yes happy with that from Robin Hoods Bay. What do you fancy in the next?
I am good cheers, had a great time at the Open meeting last week, enjoying the racing, if only the rain would stop away and stop making extra work for me!! In the next I like the Tate horse, his form with Godolphin would take this lot apart, it is just about whether he is well. At the prices I am willing to take the chance.
Good stuff on the Open Meeting. I bet you had a great time. Been to Chrltenham before but only for the festival. I agree with your pick in the next. Apologies in advance as I have probably jinxed it now!
Boom! Well done Nass. Excellent. Like you say money for tomorrow! May as well have a look at the last! Yes Tommo makes me laugh!
I have had a look at it and I have gone for Elijah Pepper, who has a good course record, can be forgiven last run and at least he knows how to win over this trip. I think the Stuart Williams horse has an obvious chance and I would also suggest that the Dixon horse could run better than his price too. However I have this one for Conor Dore and good old Elijah Pepper
I had a good long look at Eijah Pepper. Lots going for it. In the end I have gone with My Single Malt. To be honest isn't an over confident selection and small stakes for me as winless since 2 year old days but is in good form and ran ok at the track. Good luck.
Had a great evening on the AW tonight and I have another tip for tomorrow you boys. So to save my phone bill I will share it on here. GALILEE CHAPEL 9.20 Wolves, got 50's earlier now 33's
