The 17:50 from you know where looks as though it's nailed on for the top weight Elusive Ridge. Jamesie looks the only real danger. I though that Tell The Wind ran a fair race behind Elusive Ridge last time out. Trapped wide and plugged to the line. The small field will suit, but might be a small hope at a nice price.

Just for you Cyc:

18.00 Dundalk Aquilonius (NAP)

Jim Bolger's colt has been knocking on the door of late and goes off 73 for the 3rd race running. Over a mile 2 runs ago he was ridden handily but done for toe 2 out before staying on to be never nearer at the finish. Last time over 7F he was ridden more positively and tried to go on 2 out before being reeled in by a withering late run from Banner Road. Aquilonius has an 11 lbs pull in the weights tonight and I think Kevin Manning will again ride him handy and start pouring it on from the 2F pole. At the weights I am hopeful he can cling on to get the victory.

Best of luck all <ok>

Morning all. I've copied this over from yesterday's thread.

I'm going to select a double from which will come my nap. Two to avoid then.

Dundalk

17.00 Maude Adams (nap)
17.30 Elusive Ridge

Win double.

<cracker> Didn't just hang on he pulled right away <cracker>

Well done Oddy. 2 on the trot. You could get rich laying my selections. I'm really tempted to nap Long Run.

Terrific Oddy.

I've had an e/w dabble on Red Riddle 20/1 in the 7.00 Dundalk.

Lengthy absence but always shaped like he needed a step up in trip, none more so than on his last start, where he ran on well to be 2L 7th of 15 in a race that has provided CELERINA placed in a listed race less than half a length behind Margot Did and also various place form in marks of around 75, and a couple of low grade winners.

I think he can make his presence felt if wound up.

Bloody hell that's an almighty gamble landed in tremendous fashion - 14s into 7s and absolutely dotted up. Pipe stable would've been poud of that one <yikes>

Disgusting really IMO when handicaps are won like that.

Only way you can back that horse is if you are in the know.

Not showerd an iota of ability in 3 maidens and then wham, all of a sudden its got Pegasus Legs <yikes>

But seriously, it pisses me off.

Stewards should take a long hard look Toppy but they'll probably have some excuse ready - breathing op or changed his feed or some bollocks. Obviously a plot

Ah well, I look forward to the 26th and 27th at Kempton, some smart racing :)

All set for Xmas Oddy?

PS, Bramante for me in the next.

Just gotta pick the turkey up tomorrow morning then it's feet up time.

Cracking card at Kempton on Monday and I am fancying a few upsets. Really like the look of Don McCain's Agent Archie in the first and I'm convinced Silvianico Conti is going to run a MASSIVE race in the Feltham. Could be the first leg of a very special treble for Nicholls/Walsh with Rock On Ruby and Kauto Star ............................. Also Knight Pass owes me a few bob so I'll be on a recovery mission with him in the last.

Lift The Gloom looks interesting in the 7.30 - dropped 14lbs after being out more than 2 years he would have needed the run at Wolves last time when 4th, beaten 3 lengths. If he has come on for that he could go close tonight off 50 again.

Sir Des Champs misses Racing Post for Limerick! shame would have been an intresting contest between him and Bog Warrior. it seems to me he has gone for the easier option!
