That's even worse Nass!
I don't think Quelly is of limited ability. I think he's quite good, he just hasn't the racing brain of his predecessors and Cecil was at a time of life when he wanted the kind of man Quelly is: which I think is to Quelly's credit.

I think this puts it perfectly for me as well Bustino, perhaps limited ability is a little harsh but the racing brain term fits perfectly in my book. I just recall the Frankel race, Joyuse today, and he almost got our favourite forum horse beat earlier this season. I think the episode with Fallon would have had a profound effect on Sir Henry with regard stable Jockeys and I think he knew where he was with Tom Q. What also needs remembering however when listing the big names that he had indeed used before is that they were all stable jockey when Warren Place was arguably the number one job in racing. By the time of employing Ted Durcan and Tom Queally this was not the case and the list from which a Jockey could have been chosen as a retained rider would have been shortened considerably. It's all opinions at the end of the day and worth remembering that Hamdan Al Macktoum went from Willie Carson to Richard Hills which shows what one person thinks is top class another will think is far from it.

REALLY like Disclaimer in the 5.00. Held contributor by 2 and a half last time out, the horse just came 4th to hillstar, 4 lengths behind battle of marengo. That was a group 2, this is a group 3. 5/1 ew bet to nothing.

Thanks George, keep up the good work! Well, small bet on Chapter Seven in the next (16:25).

I agree SMP - got to have a great chance. Although it was only a two horse race he looked beaten and then quickened again to run right way from contributor.

Sir Barney where are you!?????!!/

Creaming himself at Chuckle Towers

In the get out stakes have had a bit e/w on Shamaal Nibras at 33/1. Has a lousy draw apparently, but what the hell! <laugh>

It's not even a get out stakes for me anymore this week swanny, more of a be less in than I was stakes.

Getting it all back on Red Orator tonight at Goodwood......Hopefully.

To those saying about Tom Queilly, I agree he is an absolute tard, rides every horse like they have a magical turn of foot and sits out back no matter what. Does my head in.

None of these horses seem to have gone over 10f, some of them look like milers on their page and frankly who wants a 2miler anyway? I'll chuck a couple of quid at the Johnston horse Mister Impatience, Fanning seems to have chosen this one yet he's a bigger price than his stablemate. Not totally convinced he'll stay on breeding but form behind Ruler of the World was franked recently in style.

WOW Leading light has to be the gamest horse i have ever seen. His 2 previous races he also had to be pushed along for a long way. Very impressive
