3.05 Fontwell Timmies Gone 20/1 Timmies Gone looks well worth a bet today. Keiran Burke's 7 year old looks a fascinating contender, like so many of the trainers horses. With a career in P2P comprising of 8 races in that sphere culminating in 2010, Timmies Gone joined his current yard and has had 5 races under rules to date. For Burke, he has competed in 4 Chase events between a distance of 2m6f and 3m2f to pretty much no success and also a selling hurdle on his last start which represent his debut over the smaller obstacles. Dropped back to 2m3f, Timmies Gone ran in a selling hurdle where I thought he didn't acquit himself too badly at all. Despite jumping a little patchy, he showed a likeable attitude to stay on towards the finish after falling back to 4th as he rallied to finish 3rd. Although hardly a strong level, this gelding's handicap mark of 92 looks lenient enough. He carried 7lb more than the 4th that day who is a 98 rated horse and also carried a stone more than 2nd who is also 98 (was 14L clear that day). Today, he is stepped up in trip to 2m4f which I definitely think should suit. Moreover, first time blinkers and tongue tie are added to Timmies Gone which potentially signifies that he's going to be trying hard for the victory today. Nick Scholfield, who took the ride LTO, is on again today as he looks to maintain his fantastic record of 3 wins from 5 rides for Burke. With the ease in the ground also looking set to help, Timmies Gone looks to have a good chance in my eyes and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he won this in decent style.
I was on him lto! ran well then hit the 4th last and never recovered but showed signs of quality at times so will be on again today
not sure whether I can keep my good run from the past couple of days going but anyway I like the look of CONFESSIONAL in the opener at Newbury, DUST WHIRL in the 2.10 and I am going to give EKTIHAAM another chance in the 4.55 although Wrotham Heath will take some beating probably.
Good afty all... Not a bad days racing but nothing to really sing home about... Looks a bit of a favs day at Ayr so may do a couple of doubles n trebles... But a fav to kick things off at Newbury first... Confessional...
I think the Alan King horse Hurricane Milly could put up a bold show in the opener at Fontwell. She was off the track for nearly 2 years prior to her reappearance at the course last month and would have badly needed the run.
it doesn't really matter where the tips come from, it adds to the interest to look at the particular race and we all then have a choice to back it or not. The whole idea of this site is toshare knowledge/information. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy reading the comments and looking back in the evening to see if a few of the speculative runners have done the business. AND I hope saby's Gem wins!!
Dildars jumping let him down again! He has some serious work to do over the summer! But i do think he will turn in to a decent hurdler!
I think Lexi better improve his jumping for next year... Has a big heart but thats what got him to the line in the end... Otto ran well for you Oddy, gave you a run for yer money pal...
