I doubted my little superstitious red thing, so I put in a forecast of Strong Suit/Red Jazz to cover myself.... :D

    Gem: Nice one <ok>

If Frederick Engels was in this race i feel sure he would be close to favourite so I am taking Stonefield Flyer EW, would be having a nice bet but do not rate Tom Eaves!

Finally broke my run of “big race” seconds. I know it was an obvious favourite and it is only a Group 2 but I would not let the Racing Post talk me out of it after Royal Ascot. When I read that it had been given a “breathing operation” I left it alone at Ascot and it won at 11/1. Today I just went in Totesport at lunchtime wrote out my bet put it on and read nothing.

Hannon said last year that they thought Strong Suit was pretty good and now he is delivering. I wonder if they will keep him on as a four-year-old.

Pymans Theory for a place in the next.

Beat Bannock at Sandown a few runs ago and has not had good draws of late, also like the Kingscote / Dascombe combo.

Have also had an E.W saver on Boris Grigoriev he is a horse who travels well in his races and the pace will be very quick here, if he can just settle in behind hopefully he can deliver a late challenge. Hopefully Moore can win one for me if Charles The Great doesn't win :) good luck all

They may well get to keep STRONG SUIT as a 4yo - the wind op will have put a lot of studs off buying him for stallion duties.
