You using your old friend Mr Google again? Let's see how you do today? Which two teams have been English football champions but never played in the premier league? This seems a good one.
Not allowed to use Google for these CW. Just lucky to have a couple of (relatively) easy ones. I only resort to Google when I haven't a clue and all other guesses are wrong. But then, it's purely out of curiosity and I might give a clue without providing the answer.
Cheers, and I genuinely didn't google - Huddersfield is due to a supporting friend who always likes to mention that they've won the league, Preston I seem to remember them talking about tom finney winning it when he died (googling now I see that's incorrect, so that ones a fluke!)
Ok chaps. I have another little teaser for you avid wanderers fans. This player, whose middle name was Nelson. Probably could be considered to be a journeyman of both league and non league football. In terms of league clubs, he played for Stoke, Walsall, Exeter, York, Darlington, Cardiff, Notts Co, Swansea and a couple of others (in no particular order) He made 502 recorded career appearances, which 59 were for the Chairboys. He finally hung up his boots in 2009. Who was it?????
slasher I am absolutely stumped by this! most of the journeymen I can think of are more recent years (leon knight, dean morgan etc) so obviously didn't retire in 2009..... what sort of era was he playing for Wycombe?
