Noticed French Jockey Antoine Hamelin made a great start to his Hong Kong career with a double on Sunday, and could be the next big star rider over there.

If I remember correctly Red Glow was very "Coltish" I seem to recall a televised race where he was going around the paddock sporting a "5th leg"

I was on Kahyasi at 14/1 because I didn't think Doyoun would stay and Kahyasi looked assured as a stayer even if he wasn't an exciting sort. Unfuwain seemed to be doubtful to be suited to Epsom in the build up to the race. Years later I felt Cumani had a similar sort in Daliapour and by my standards I had quite a decent bet ante-post at 20/1 for the Derby. Sadly, he was 2nd to Henry Cecil's Oath. The race was most notable for being the only time the sublime Dubai Millennium was defeated. Sadly the great horse died aged only 5 but he left a legacy through his son Dubawi.

Saw him at Ascot. The rest of the field came along a bit later <laugh>

Darley have just announced that Sharmardal has had to be euthanised due to health issues. He sired three unbeaten G1 colts last year in Pinatubo, Victor Ludorum and Earthlight. His legacy lives on in Lope de Vega and hopefully others including the new recruit Blue Point. <peacedove>

I must have been seriously bored today. Had a few punts at Happy Valley and finished ahead so backed one for the mile at Sha Tin on Saturday and then had a look at this Will Rogers Downs ****. My God they are all claimers and seem to run from a different barn every other race.
Had to have a little ew so took you on in the 9:45 with Just Blaze at 9/1. Good luck.
