With so much flat racing today I can't seem to pick a sausage... I'm finding it very difficult to pick up some value bets. Anyway here are my selections: 3.20 Dansili Damcer 5/1 1pt win 3.20 Porgy 5/1 1pt win 7.30 Ursula (5/2 or more on betfair to place only, snap it up quick!) 1pt place only. Anything above 2/1 is value. Maybe worth backing EW later if the prices drifts to 10/1 or more. Many horses in with a shout in this race including Grissom and Karaka Jack.
First really short priced 2yo turned over, dire was that run by Mousie. Another winner for Sir Percy, who I do hope makes a successful career at stud.
What a bunch of dogs in the Yarmouth one, the jolly won in the end but why would you get involved in a race like that at prohibitive odds!!
Well, must be crackers, but I'll put one up for the dire last at Yarmouth . 5.10 Yarmouth - Sweet Possession Let's see...........
Brian Meehan runs two in the 2.50. He said: "We expected a good run from Hidden Passion at Kempton and still do not know what happened to her there. Martin [Dwyer] felt her take a bad step and pulled her up, but she was fine the following morning and obviously ever since, or else she would not be running here. She has worked well for some time and we expect her to run a big race - mishaps apart! "ProudPearl is a lovely Proud Citizen filly who has been working very nicely. She should run a good race, but could need the experience." Backed both and done a reverse forecast too
Tom Dascombe's got a nice one Viola D'Amour. I think I have a new favourite horse though, will do a review of that race on the blog later I think. Interesting stuff.
Very well done Ron and afternoon everybody. Very interesting to see Keys running again today, should go close but at the weights the Cecil filly looks like a VERY VERY good thing.
Oddy if you like Timeform then you would be interested to see the front 3 in the Keys race are seperated by about 3pts (all with a p) in their ratings. Cecil is leader on marks but only just.
Very interesting Nass - if we had some juice in the ground I would be having a decent go on Keys, especially with Hanagan on board. However I thought Wild Coco was very impressive on debut against colts with experience (only getting 5lbs as well) and I think she looks a stand-out bet today.
Gee thanks Cyc. I've won a cracker at last. I feel I must make a speech. Then again.............sod it.
Good to Soft - and I think its a little bit softer - BHA website have updated ground and RP are reporting it too
