West Tigers / Wigan Double cyc!! I was in Newcaslte last week by the knights stadium. Friend lives nearby. They could be dark horses.
As a loyal queenslander Don, I can't support ant team south of the border. Brisbane have been my team since their inception. NQ and Gold Coast to fill the placings. NSW nowhere.
Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!-------steady on the old hessianburg--------10 pooound buys half a street of houses in teeside.
1.10 Leicester - TUSCAN GOLD 9/4 (BOG) WIN & ORIENTAL CAT 25/1 (BOG) WIN have had to back Oriental Cat as well lol A decent Novice hurdle to start the card at Leicester this afternoon. The David Pipe trained Kazilan is currently the 11/8 favourite whilst I respect the fact that he has leading claims this afternoon I do feel he is a bit short in the market. He was nothing special on the flat in France and was turned over at 1/2 on his debut for current connections at Market Rasen back in November, that form wouldn't be good enough to win this race. Kazilan went on to win by 50 lengths next time out at 1/4 fav on heavy ground but again this was a very modest race and I feel he has to improve to win here. I really like the look of Alan Kings Tuscan Gold this afternoon. A progressive performer on the flat for Sir Mark Prescott this lightly raced 5yo made his hurdling debut for Alan King and Highclere at Huntingdon early last month. He shaped with great promise in what I feel was a decent race. His trainer has went on to say he didn't feel that he stayed the 2m4f trip therefore the step down to 2m today should suit him better. With further improvement expected I think he is the one they all have to beat here. I have also had a small bet on Oriental Cat who may be a bit overpriced at around the 25-1 mark, he was a 91 rated flat horse at his best but hasn't taken to hurdling that well in his 2 starts for Venetia Williams. However he was pitched in to a Grade 1 race at Aintree for his first start over hurdles and despite being pulled up in much easier company at Bangor last time he did show a lot more promise. With Venetia Williams horses in much better form I have had a small saver
Tuscan Gold ****e and the other one can't jump the Pipe horse has improved so much for first run at Market Rasen - 50 lengths last time and wins on bridle today - seriously impressive Nice place Cyc
2 non runners in a 9 runner handicap on the Sand. Frustrating. The race now looks to be framed nicely for the jolly.
I can't believe that Pipe horse has gone off at 13-8 - thought it would be a 1-3 shot (sorry, been at lunch, burp)
Quite right, she is really lumbered. Careful now, I have this feeling I will be in scintillating form come Cheltenham. Take cover, as I will be issuing approved patent bets on each and ever day of the festival............ Pricewise will eat his heart out............
