Three things; Massive thanks to Barney for flagging up Cocktails At Dawn. Had my biggest bet of the season and quite frankly was never sweating...me or him! Drever, great shout on Billy Dutton, I looked at him last night but thought he was high enough in the weights.....doh! Lastly, BOOGIE IN THE BARN. I had a big punt on him last time and so did many people that I told he wouldn't lose, he ran a stinker! Back to form today without a bean of my money on him! Typical, at least a bit pleased though that I wasn't completely barking about him. Possibly off to Gods own racecourse, at least I think that's what Barney calls Newton Abbot, on Saturday to see my mare get her handicap mark. If she is well and goes she will then be roughed of with the view of coming back in the Autumn for a crack at a little handicap. then the fun may well begin!
