Told you Cyc - my nap sunk without trace. Jesus I couldn't pick a winner to save my life at the moment
Oddy, competition starting tomorrow, me versus thee. First to pick a winning nap wins could keep people entertained for months
Hello lads. Nothing for me today..stuck in a capabilities workshop. Notre Pere taken out the Beecher chase unfortunately. The race has cut up rather badly. GL all and well done on the naps that have obliged.
Hang your head in shame young man I remember Alexei Sayle doing a standup routine years ago talking about some workshop or other and saying "Actually, anyone who uses the word workshop and isn't involved in light engineering is a twat"
Afternoon guys, and well done to Stick with his first. Better late than never, one from me today runs in the 6.30 Wolverhampton tonight, got 14/1 last night; however, it would appear to have been subjected to a considerable gamble and that price has now gone. The selection is ROYAL BAJAN currently 11/2 but gets in off a cracking mark and goes well at Wolverhampton. There are a number of hold up types here and congestion could be a problem, however, his turn of toe is his strength and he should have enough to put these to bed off a strong pace set by SHARP SHOES and is my NAP for today.
I tipped up a horse here a couple weeks back, Don't Panic, who was rank outsider (a few of us subsquently decided I was crazy and needed sectioning ). He ran a decentish race, defying his odds to finish fifth of nine but just 2 lengths of off 3rd. He runs again today off of the same mark, but with 7lbs coming off thanks to the jockey. Got to have a chance of a place at 18/1 . edit, 2.45 at Wincanton chaps
Bet 365 4/1+ race coming up at Wincanton 3.50 where FOLIE A DEUX is upped in distance and is weighted to win, could go close at a nice EW price of 8/1
I have the 5.00 at Wolverhampton between Lady Gar Gar 4/1 and Sarangoo 10/1. The former is weighted to win now back down to optimum distance over 7f (twice a winner at this trip from 5 starts) and travelled well when last seen, certainly up to winning off 63 (+ 3lb claim as well so effectively 60) having won off 65 earlier this season. The key here is that there is little in the way of solid opposition. The only other horse I fancy might still have a squeak is Sarangoo, who despite rising in the weights for his win a few starts back, has actually been running on strongly in all of his races, especially over 6f, so 7f looks to be about right after 9f seemed to stretch him last time. If he doesn't get too detatched at the start, he could run on late.
