Can't be having Our Girl Salley - not soft enough for her and doesn't look the same horse as last season. Madame Mado for me but no bet
I am leaving her today as well Odddy I agree with your points - 11/4 is a poor price. Golden Sunbird for me really interested in her now back over hurdles
Johnston's horse at Southwell, how many 70 rated horses do you get in maidens at Southwell? Price is wrong for me.
The €2.71 is now €10.98 and the lot has gone on Unaccompanied. Quick pop to the shops, back for the Istabraq
RV: Burnt fingers on Golden Sunbird LTO, not this time though. Might have a bit on Oddy's in the Istabraq..................
Boooooooooooom Unaccompanied Lovely ride Townend, kept Thousand Stars boxed in at a crucial stage Well done Grizzly and the others who were on
Well done boys - no chance of winning a CH on that performance though obviously getting the 10lbs today and Thousand may well have won but for being boxed in and making an arse of the last
Oddy/Grizzly: Great stuff and many thanks, had nice touch there! (Certainly made-up for 13:00 Kelso misfortune!).
Great ride by Townend but she's not Champion Hurdle class. Won't be getting 10lbs at Cheltenham, you'd fancy TS to reverse the form.
I would seriously fancy Thousand Stars to reverse the form giving a propper ride lol. Usually Ruby's biggest fan but Townend just owned him. Why didn't Ruby take Thousand Stars to the front I do not know - a horse that stays 3m+ and he holds him up lol. I like Dermot Weld though so happy for him Odddy well played Sir - get the beers in
Well done with Unaccompanied guys....Badger Foot shoud go well at Kelso in the 2.45. Trainer had winner earlier with Bold Sir Brian....
Boom indeed. RV remember she is only 4 and still learning over timber, the horrid 5 year old stat at Cheltenham acts as a huge warning flag but it could be an average renewal so she will deserve to take her chance. Also, she is not one to leave her field in her wake, she has an air of 'do just enough' about her, and the fact she's won on good suggests the ground at Cheltenham will be OK for her, certainly no quicker than the Triumph last year when she beat everything bar Zarkander and would have been a hell of alot closer but for traffic. I think that was her 6th hurdle race and can see her improving again, whether it's good enough for a Champion Hurdle remains to be seen of course. Today she received 10lb at Cheltenham she'll get 7lb which may/may not make a difference
Really puzzling ride by the usually fantastic Mr Walsh, considering the horse has won over 3m+ and made every yard of the trip last time over the same trip as today, you would have thought Ruby would at least have had the horse fairly prominent to make the most of its stamina,on what is now testing going.Cant help but think result would have been different if Ruby had been more positive, that said well done to Odddy and whoever else was on the winner
Grizzly I agree she is good enough to take her chance but I honestly wouldn't back her at 100/1 never mind 10s
Just got in from taking the missus to the sales, lol. Had two bets today- one of them being Unaccompanied boooooom!! Well done guys
