Good old AP, does it week in week out. Shame his book is as poorly written as one of my extended prose on here!
Work is so dull that I've managed to do the Kelso 1pm and now find myslef forced to have a bet ! I like the chances of Nicky Richards charge, Getting Ready. Drifted like a barge on his debut at Wetherby before finishing 3rd, that was back in October so the horse may be a trucky one to get ready if you'll pardon the pun. The favourite is Into the Wain who I think is priced on his second at Catterick last time and could be underpriced as such. Haven't seen an opening show but 5/2 or thereabouts is a reaonable price for me
I have backed Great Wisdom EW, with the hope that he can run closer to his flat form than his debut over hurdles. Not a 40/1 chance for me. Poor race with the two Grizzly has mentioned as being the ones to beat
Hidden Cyclone impressive but please let Celtic Folklore get up that was nasty and again bad luck for Mullins
Oddy, I was too busy rewatching AP and his galvanising of the Hendo horse to get on one I reasonably liked at Southwell. Now I find it won nicely by 2 lengths at a mere 18/1. Thats it, I hate AP again.
I now have €7.32. The lot is going on Tour d'Argent in the next at Donny - live fast die young !!
Odddy I thought HC was impressive - jumped so well - will need the run and that horse in 2nd was never going to get to him think the jock was taking the piss. Did the Mullins horse get up ?
Ouch that looked nasty at Kelso - good job they have them flimsy plastic railings. Come on AP - the Oddy fortunes are on your back
The only way the Mares race at the festival will be any sort of contest is if they make Quevaga start at the 3m marker now.......
Oddy: Well done! My Getting Ready got carried-out!.............. (Damn glad no one was hurt, could have been nasty!).
