Well as you know islander, I prefer a grinding affair when it comes to a shocking race. One of those events where the conditions are so horrid, that anything can bob up. Sadly, I can't find one of those today, but I found a Fillies Maiden over 7 furlongs at Roscommon. The 5:50 has two solid chances, Vastitas and Betrothed, both at the head of the market. I suppose they should be there abouts when the whips are cracking. But I'm going for something with a bit of each way value about it, Darasel Wane. She ran a nice race first up when beaten just under 2L when 5th in a field of 21 at Curragh last September. She was put away until about a month ago when she showed up at Gowran over 7f and was backed from 9-2 into 3-1. She was on the pace but stopped to be beaten 9L when 5th of 16. She must be showing something in private, so she might be worth a shekel each way.

Roscommon 5:50 Darasel Wane. Each Way.

Is there a demand for both comps? I can run them both if you want.

At 16/1 Pink Symphony might be worth a small e/w wager in the 19:40 at Warwick? Being by Montjeu, she will surely appreciate the eased ground conditions?

Don't forget ATR have a Royal Ascot competition where you could win a free £500 bet
