Well done to those who had the winner, but what on earth is going on with the form, fillies are so unreliable

Not a big fan of milers doing an extra 4 furlongs until proven... I think the decision was correct not to enter Frankel in the Derby until it has at least a run at 10F.

Heyyougetoffamycloud: “And ANDY MURRAY WILL BEAT the little spaniard 4/1 is stealing money!!!!”

It is certainly stealing money if you are a bookmaker. The Scottish Brat can limp back to Dunblane to sulk about going down in straight sets 6-4, 7-5, 6-4. The little Spaniard can go and enjoy some birthday cake and watch the other semi-final to see who he will play for the title.

Well done Heisenburg and Bucks on their Oaks success, that would have been possibly my last pick in the race, as Shergar says the fillies form is very in and out.

So what you're saying Shergy is that Andy Murray is an :emoticon-0172-mooni....

He looks like he'll never win a major a la that other tennis lovechild of the English media Tim Henman <laugh> Was looking at the odds for Nadal to win 3-0 and it was 10/11, was tempted to do that but instead I backed Blue Bunting :headbang::headbang:

My other bet was one I was not going to do until Johnny Murtagh talked me into going on a St Nick and Midday straight forecast (about the second time in my life I've done a forecast). Am a big Midday fan and as you can imagine I was quite concerned with the ease Midday swept past him. Personally I can see why people are unhappy with Queally's ride, he did commit early enough, but in a small field he didn't have many options....I'm just relieved I changed my mind as I was edging slightly towards the filly all week. Re: St Nick he will surely struggle to win a top mile and a half race on quick ground... King George or Arc, no thanks ;)

St Nick looks a plodder to me, had Miidday sat on his heels until the last furlong and a half she would have won. They got racing early and Queally played his cards far to early, and even though she went 1.01 in running I was never confident as I knew SNA would stay on, which he did, but I think it was quite clear which horse had the more class as they turned in!

I'm convinced Midday is the better horse, and if ridden differently she will beat SNA. SNA won't be winning the KG or Arc with no turn of foot, he looks like he needs further than 12, I'd aim himat the Irish St Leger, then onto the Melbourne Cup, and a crack at the Ascot Gold Cup next year

Tim Henman was different though, even though he was a loser, he was likeable!

I don't know if I'd go as far as likeable but I didn't find Tim dislikeable, he was a mannerly loser as you imply! Murray is a bit of a grump, which we could put up with, should he bring success along with him but unfortunately against Nadal (and even Djockovic- I know the spellings wrong) he looks like boy against man! Wimbledon will be the same, mark my words!

Where you suitably 'Messimerised' last Saturday night by the Catalan Kings Shergs?! They were sublime and more than lived up to their favourites billing, as I suggested to you they would. United were lucky to only let in three ;)

BOS.....Yes Barcelona deserved there victory, we didn't realy get into the game, and that's mainly because they kept the ball so well. When we did get the ball, we looked shocked, and they closed us down quickly, SAF will have a plan to deal with them next season though!

I have just been looking through the Goodwood card and have decided to steam into Rougette 8.25

Shergs Sir Alex has had two years to come up with a plan to 'stop' Barca and if anything the gulf in class has widened from 2009...The only plan I can see anyone using to stop them is to kidnap Iniesta, Xavi, Alves, Pedro, Villa, Pique, and maybe even Lionel as well <laugh> Their far and away the best team of the last 20 years I've seen and I don't think any team of that era would have come close. They are so superior to anything at the minute it's not even funny

Good luck with this steamer Shergy <ok>

They always have the refs on there side though, against Arsenal Van Persie gets sent off for kicking the ball after the whistle, with Arsenal infront on away goals, against Real Madrid Pepe is sent off when he never even touched the bloke, they may have outplayed us in the final but they were very lucky to be there. In 09 they also had a bent ref help them to the final, at Stamford Bridge!

The Real Madrid side that had the likes of Zidane, Figo, Carlos, Raul, Hierro and Ronaldo was a far better side, and there was no conspiracy to get them to the final every year, they earnt there place

Glad to hear it Woolcombe, just make sure you don't give it back. I had a poor day at Epsom , but played my get out of jail card at Goodwood when Rougette won with minimal of fuss, so recouped all my losses!

Good luck on your big day tommorow
