Solix is a terrible jumper. I always assume eventually these top trainers will be able to get anything to jump properly, but some just never will.
Stick good horse. Nicholls yard not right at the time. Not sure CC got home either that or the hard season catching up. He is a smashing horse though
Flawless display of jumping by Silviniaco Conti but can't see him winning next year's Gold Cup - best kept to flat tracks.
Credit where credit is worth, but anyone can pick out favourites. Hopefully its not monopoly money and you can get yourself a few bob in your pocket rather than rely on your benefits, well done
Didnt think Champion Court would be beaten by that much but Siviano looked a easy ride all the way round...
He was well beaten, but the margin looks worse than it was. He was eased to a canter at the end. Still a flogging though.
Champion Court ran a possible Gold Cup horse to within 5 lengths up a bloody steep hill 4 weeks ago. He's just tired. He's a great big horse who looks like he'll keep improving and if he does Ryanair next year is a realistic target. I wouldn't go down the 3m+ route. That's absolutely stacked with exceptional novices from Ireland.
Delighted to see Silviniano put in a top jumping display- lovely horse. Possibly limited but very good on flat tracks and very rhythmical.
The Ryanair is a top shout for him Quel. The perfect distance and the perfect track. Any chance of the bickering stopping on here please. Its become tedious!
Unlucky on him today mate. Silviniaco won but lets all be honest.... he's naff. Champion Court is the only long term prospect in that race.
Not horse related alert! Mancini - if he wasn't managing the Qatari national team would he be as eager to publicly slag off £60 million pounds worth of strikers in one season to the whole footballing world?
