This day is a bit of a joke
I thought it was called Champions Day!

The ground is turning it into a bookies benefit

Well done with Seal of Approval Uncle. Won that easily at 20/1. Great advert for Novellist? Apparently when Novellist won the KG, Seal of Approval would have been arriving at the furlong pole.

Another winner for Nicholls - I was writing him off a week ago but he's had a tremendous strike rate lately

Following the money on Pettifour here at Kelso - first time visor and the yard in decent nick. Will probably finish last <laugh>

Last year Elusive Kate was beaten 6l by Excelebration on soft. Question is, would Excelebration have beaten this lot by 6l? I suspect not; so, unfortunately, that leads me to desert one of my favourite fillies today. I hope Dawn Approach wins but I fear the French horse and this is a watch only race for me. I'm not so confident as some that J Bolger will get it right; after all he did run New Approach on firm ground to get beaten.

Never been less confident of a horse before a race than I am currently with DAWN APPROACH but I managed to get 7-2 earlier so here's hoping he can finish on a high but that ground is truly terrible for these flat horses...

Well that was pretty comprehensive wasn't it? I wouldn't even blame the ground for Dawn Approach. Not the horse he was first half of the season...

Top Notch Tonto. What a race from a horse who cost 5,000 Gns. Lovely comment from Timeform "........ Probably biting off more than he can chew here, though."

Blinkers sure worked wonders for Olympic Glory! The only horse who's ever come close to beating Moonlight Cloud this season.

    Dawn Approach. <doh>

With the Nicholls yard in such good form I've backed Sire Collonges e/w in the next at Cheltenham - top weight but 5lbs claimer on and will be cherry ripe for this I reckon

If anything Balthazar King has won that too easy - he'll get clobbered for that. Amazing performance.
