True Oddy. Cheltenian is a lovely horse but just popped up at the wrong time imo. Al Ferof won the Supreme, beating the like of SS and Cue Card, but was rated 142 after that win. Given these novices' ratings are transient and always improving I would expect this years field to throw up something a bit special. Jezki is already rated 144 before the Supreme and no one is even contemplating him beating the "good thing" Fascinating to see how this pans out and I can see how Cheltenian's run would have seemed taking. I just can't have him at all for that race.I do take your point about inexperienced horses winning but that horse did not look a natural jumper to me today. He is,however, far from without a chance...probobly only me thinks so and thats no recommendation!
Like it Stick!...we roast a horse we don't like/fancy for a race and have to suck it up if it wins. Better than fence sitting...something I don't see the point of on a forum where an exchange of contrary or similar views is always preferable.
Yeah George!...tell me some goddam **** about that 3 legged Camel!!...my Border Terrier is called Oscar and has more chance than that sand castle..lol! Whoops I'm getting carried away
