I just think personal abuse is uncalled for. Although I do sympathise with the difficulties on this board over the last few days.

 

guy had good passion, he clearly loved Man utd but i have to agree,most of his thread are nearly the same also he was giving us a bad name when he went on Chelsea board insulting them when they beat Barca but i think we all should stop dissing him, its not nice

His posts were so full of insight, we're knackered without them.

 

This board will be almost empty without him, I never gave the lad any abuse hardly, very little in fact.

Was a die hard fan but maybe got too excited with posting garbage constantly.

Ok, I see what you're saying in a way but the reality is this forum is a metaphorical pub, not a school playground.

The reason I joined here after 606 shut was because it was adult and there was also some good football discussion. Of late that hasn't been the case, I'm not blaming him at all but this is not the forum for Daffy. He's not cut out to take **** really and you're going to get it on this site. Anyone wanting nice kiddy rubbish where mates change teams with the most sucess like Matth need to find somewhere else to post. No doubt he will.

I don't buy into this bullying accusation, using the metaphore that after Chelsea won the CL semi Matth walked into a boozer full of celebrating Chelsea fans and slagged them off and started calling them plastic fans and he hoped they would lose etc etc etc then he deserved all the **** he got and more.

Turns out he's autistic, how the hell are people meant to know that? In hindsight I can see it but at the time he came across as just a bloody idiot.

 

Honestly I think banning him was a kindness and the majority you write here seems spot on to me

A ban seems a bit harsh. His only real crime was to be too keen. Rusholme is probably right though. He was never going to last here.

They are both **** internet personalities who act nothing like what they are in real life on here. Comas is probably a big girls blouse in the real world. Yet on here he calls everyone all sorts because he's hiding behind the veil of anonymity that is the internet. Same as KPR, when he was found out on facebook he ****ed off sharpish because he knew the stuff he wrote was absolutely outrageous and he'd be embarrassed to have his name actually attached to his posts and opinions.

 

Alan you are a top bloke, but surely you have to see that this is not the place for daffymatt, he had no oppinion, he couldn't defend himself and now and again would post threads that made United fans in general look bad. I'm sure he made up some of his friend stories aswel.

The personal abuse was uncalled for i agree, but ultimately Matth didn't help himself. with his inability to correct himself. I was going to PM him about it since, but judging by the way he was still posting match threads so early despite the repeated lockings i doubt it would have much of an effect. I liked him at first and i still dont think he was ever malicious, but his constant recycled threads were putting people off.

All that said Comas you really shouldn't be feeling so good about picking on an Autistic kid until he snapped. Thats low. Some of the complaints were justified but there are better ways than that. It doesn't sit well with me at all the way people attacked him.
