My dad died when I was 13 but this is a favourite photo showing him holding a 1937 Wembley ticket (belonging to his dad)

Nig's picture of him with his dad made me think . . . . there must be loads of foties of us on here being proud to be with our dads.
Here's one of me at Butlins in Filey having my first 'pint' (mine's only a half 'cos I was only 14)
with my dad (who we 'lost' a few years ago)

Cheers, Dad <cheers>

Looking at the photo and your avatar, I think someone is telling porkies

It seems that some, like Vince has mentioned, do not have foties of them with their dads, so we could include us with our sons, which fits in with a 'proud dads' theme.
Here's me and my boy at christmas when he was allowed to stay overnight

I'm more proud of him than I was of my dad :emoticon-0105-wink:

Went to see my dad today at the chapel of rest to say goodbye.

Brought tears to me eyes.
Great Post that mate.
It obviously meant something to your Dad, because he kept it, and I know you previously said he was a newcastle fan.
Hope everything goes OK mate....thoughts are with you.

I think my mam kept it mate but dad liked Sunderland too.
It's a nice snapshot of the past.
The shirt is late 80's if I remember right with the centre badge so i was around 20 but can't think who the players are ?

There's a question, who were the two players and who were we playing ?

Paul Atkinson and Keith Bertchin are the players I believe. Team is possibly Portsmouth?
