So this evening our group of heroes that weren't put together by Middle Eastern oil tycoons or Russian oligarchs, continue their pursuit of a place in the World Cup finals for the first time since 1958 (I'm still getting over a 17 year old Pele scoring his first World Cup finals goal against us).
It now looks extremely unlikely that we can qualify automatically but a place in the playoffs is still very much on the cards given what happened in the Nations League.
Tonight's game is tough and I can't see us doing the double over the Czechs. The challenge is of course more difficult by the absence of Gareth Bale but at least Aaron Ramsey is back to captain the team. We certainly missed him recently.
Crucial that we start well and then take advantage of any chances we create or that are given to us.
I dare say Mr Page will adopt a pragmatic in Prague approach.
Regretfully, I fear we may lose this by rwo clear goals but I'm Welsh and I live in hope.
CYMRU AM BYTH

Going to be hard with the amount of players not playing.

Still think we can get something from this.

Come on Wales.

Would have preferred Connor Roberts at rb.

Apart from Harry Wilson no other game changers on the bench.
Thought the same about RB. I guess both could be an accident waiting to happen in different ways.
I suppose the squad somewhat picked itself from the limited numbers available.

Some schoolboy mistakes creeping in but on the whole I think we're doing ok and should be winning.
Moore is pretty much ineffectual given how we're playing

Definitely take the draw there. Could and should have been more but given the circumstances.

Bloody good game though, despite the Czech histrionics all the time.

I enjoyed it. A couple of dodgy moments at both ends for us but overall a good, attacking performance.
Ramsey showing his class again.

Definitely. I really hope Rambo gets more game time at Juve or a move elsewhere, he deserves a decent run.

Thought Keifer grew into the game as it wore on.
Hopefully Mick was watching and saw how effective it is to have runners in and around him (Ralls and Harris could probably both do that job well given chance methinks).

Just need to adopt a more positive approach overall.
