MotoGP kicks off soon at Brno with Dani Pedrosa and his Honda on pole, just ahead of the reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo on the Yamaha. Honda and Yamaha take the next three grid positions ahead of Valentino Rossi on his troublesome Ducati.

Stoner leads the championship ladder going into the eleventh round, just ahead of Lorenzo, but has not been happy with his bike this weekend. Jeremy Burgess, Rossi garage man, thinks the the Ducati is still some way off the pace, and can't see them being competitive until the end of the season.

    Betting.

    Pedrosa 4-5.
    Lorenzo 9-4.
    Stoner 7-2.

Amazing place. Only a 600m straight, but speeds approaching 310kph at about 18,000rpm.

Will Lorenzo's softer tyre come home to haunt him later?

Stoner half a second quicker. Pedrosa drops it.

Looks like Stoner has the bike now. Can Simmo keep it on it's wheels?

Lorenzo might lose the podium. Simmo is on him.

Rossi's Duc is making ground. Cruthclow makes a habit of dropping it.

I heard that, but he's keen to say no. So who knows. If he goes to Honda, does Dovi miss the ride?

Lorenzo's front tyre is fooked by the looks of it.
