Joint winners this week with Oddy and Havinacow both selecting the same winner for a 9.50 return. Neither could back it up with a place to edge the verdict so the spoils are shared. Well done both. Uncle Cracker maintained his fine form in 3rd with 8.80. A tad unlucky for Uncle as his winner had a better sp return than the winners but he has cemented his position at the top of the leaderboard for the season. Reebs posted a profit in 4th place as did Smoketdb in 5th.

Finishing positions below. Ignore the stuff in brackets as it just helps me with the season averages by keeping everything in one place.

1= Oddy 9.50 (14.10 season gross total/3 entries)
1= Havinacow 9.50
3 Uncle Cracker 8.80 (34.2/3)
4 Reebok 7.40
5. Smoketdb 5.90 (10.5/2)

Also ran
Redcgull 4.80 (10.5/3)
Sir Percy 3.40 (12.4/2)
Bucks 3.40
Stick 3.20 (24.2/3)
Chan 2.90 (8.60/3)
Ron 2.20 (3.90/3)
Mwildcats (2.20 (12.8/2)
Steveo 0 (10.60/3)
Hawkeye 0 (7.40/2)

Thanks Chan and well done Havinacow, is that the first time we've had a tie?

Top stuff Uncle Cracker, setting the standard on the averages <ok>

Yes big thank you chan I would not have placed a winning bet if it was not for your hard work keep it up mate
Well done oddy and havin a cow

Mmmmm your not the only one stick I banged in a 10/1 and sit in third oh well all the fun of the fair keep them coming mate

I feel a little cheated by this comp at times. I put up my winner at 9-2 and it goes off at 2-1. Such injustice!

You will keep picking those short odds on favs stick...<whistle><laugh><laugh>

My first one came in and i thought it was gonna be one good day but the rest didnt go close... Nevermind, always next week as they say...<ok>

Keep up the good work Chanin...<cheers>

It really is the luck of the draw sometimes with the old "Nanny Goat". I remember being at Aintree on the Thursday of the Grand National meeting 2012 and before the first race I walked round the betting ring about 6 times with my brother-in-law trying to get him the best prices for Big Buck's - he was after a serious "brown envelope" job. Anyways, after about 20 minutes scouring, 2/9 was the best price we could find and he duly lumped on. I said I was content to back it on the tote. Of course Buck's hosed up and paid 1.30 on the tote - my brother-in-law was gutted <laugh>
